Everest Base Camp Trek – 14 days

Everest is in Khumbu district of Nepal’s Sagarmatha National Park (Natural Heritage site). It is locally known as Khumbu where you witness a unique Sherpa culture includes different monasteries, Mani stones (carving of Buddhist prayer for good luck), five different colors prayers flags and Stupas. Our guide explains you about these structures and will get to learn more about the culture. Sherpa’s has has tale of Yeti that was the best friend of Lama Sange Dorje. The Yeti served water to Lama during the meditation. There is richly decoration Tengboche monastery en-route where celebrates Mani Rimdum Festival. Everest trek is the greatest of all high mountain journeys with close up view of Himalayan giants along the way. Our guide leads you through famous Sherpa village of Namche bazzar, Khumjung, Tengboche monastery and Pangboche etc. You will take nine days with time for safe acclimatization before pushing to Everest and four days on the trek out on our carefully itinerary.
We include ascents to Kala Pattar (5545m); the highest elevation of the trek. It is the best place to get an amazing close up views of Everest, Lhotse, South Col, Nuptse, Puma Ri, Khumbutse, Khumbu Icefalls and glacier etc.
We stop at teahouse where is small private room with twin beds, sleeping pad and pillows. There have to sharing toilets and washing facilities with teahouse guests. Warm enough sleeping bag is highly recommended to take with you.
It is locally known as Sagarmatha (in Nepal) and Chomolungma (in Tibet) and Zhumulangma Feng (in China) is the highest mountain peak in the world at 8,848 meters above sea level in the great Himalayas. It is located in the border or Nepal and Tibet. It is formed in the shape of three sided pyramid which is covered by hard rock and snow. It was successfully first conquered by Tenzing Norgay (Nepal) and Sir Edmund Hillary (New Zealand) in May 29th of 1953. Various events are organized to commemorate each 29th of May of this historic climb.
