The trek has a good lodge network and always has passionate views of the Himalayas en route.

The journey begins with a 25-minute flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara and a 45-kilometer, one-hour taxi ride to Nayapool. On the first day, we will walk for a few hours to Tikhedunga and climb the stone stairs to Ulleri village. From Poon Hill, we trek to Ghandruk Village in a day.

The Poon Hill Trek route takes us through the giant Rhododendron trees, which are colorful in spring from mid-March to May. En route, we see many birds and Langurs (grey monkeys). From Ghorepani, we walk through a dense forest of Rhododendrons and Pine trees, taking a different route to Ghandruk village. From here, we can see the Sunset over the attractive mountain of Machhapurchhare (6,993 meters).

Over the four days, we will tour the old Ghandruk village and visit the Gurung cultural museum in the morning. From Ghandruk, we will take a bus to Pokhara.
