Samdan and I did the Annapurna circuit in 14days and it was the most beautiful trekking of my life!
He and his brothers are all super friendly, caring, respectful, and experienced!
They inform and prepare you for the trek perfectly. I learned a lot from Samdan and I am so happy to have him by me as my guide, friend, and partner on a hike for two weeks!

We did the Everest Base camp trek with Norsang. He is really professional, he knows all the villages and told us many things about the tradition and the religion of Nepal.We learned many stories about the mountains, the villages and the yeti (you can see see the scalp in a monastery !).

The trek is just amazing, you can see most of the highest mountains of Himalaya. We slept in really nice lodges, and the food was always really good.

We did some other small trek with him or his brother, organisation always perfect.

It was my first trekking experience in Nepal. I wanted to complete Annapurna Circuit trail and Norsang, who was my guide and partner, did all the best to make this trip absolutely safe and unforgettable. He met me in Kathmandu after my arrival to agree on the details and two days later we started our two weeks adventure. It was not only a trekking, he gave me a huge lesson about the area, mountains and culture. His professionalism was at the highest level, he was organizing really nice guesthouses every day, giving me a nice daily briefing with many details, adjusting the walking pace according to my needs and abilities. He was always there when I needed him. I highly recommend him as a guide and I am so happy we meet each other. We had a really great time. Other than being a guide he is a wonderful trekking partner and friend who you can always talk to.

I have been trekking many times in Nepal since 1994. For the first time, Norsang was our guide for the Kanchenjunga trek in 2004, a difficult trek that could be done only as a camping trek at this time. Norsang was a very competent guide, organizing everything perfectly: Airplane tickets, permits, trekking staff, food, tents etc. Since then, it was clear to me that Norsang would be “the” guide for our future treks. So we went later to Dolpo in 2009 with Norsang, then around Manaslu in 2013 with his brother Sanjay. This year (November 2019), my wife and I decided to go trekking in the Upper Mustang. Naturally, we asked again Norsang to organize the trek. I had specific requirements because I wanted absolutely to keep away from the motor road that runs along the Kali Gandaki. Norsang proposed a fantastic itinerary, with breathtaking views of canyons, Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri. He was very well organized, very patient when we were slow, chose carefully the places where we stayed. I definitely recommend Norsang to anybody going trekking in Nepal. He has a vast experience in all trekking areas, has great contacts in the local population. He is 100% reliable, his quotes are perfectly clear, as well as what is included and what is not, there are no surprises as far as the cost of the trek. And his fees are very reasonable.

No question: Norsang is a five-star guide. Lucky you if you go trekking with him, you’ll have a fantastic experience wherever he takes you to.

This September we completed the Three Passes Trek with the guide Norsang from High Camp Trekking. We are two friends of twentysomething years old who absolutely loved the adventure and would definitely repeat the experience in a few years time, even though the trek was strenuous.

Norsang was a perfect guide, he not only provided us with expert guidance of the trek, altitude advice and acclimatisation training, but he also took good care of us during the trekking hours and after at the teahouses. His professionalism and knowledge made the journey fautless and enriched our experience. Norsang was always willing to answer all of our questions about the culture, religion, politics, flora, fauna, trekkings, mountains of the area, and so on. He also was our personal photographer, taking really great shots!!

Through the trek he did a great job setting a comfortable pace that allowed us to complete the trek perfectly. We always felt extremely safe and we enjoyed being able to stop and rest when needed. He watched us and gave us advice of how to get downhill when the terrain was a bit slippery or icy. During the acclimatisation days, following Norsang planning, instead of stopping at low altitudes, as other people did, we trekked to higher elevations which really helped us to be successful and not to have any symptoms of altitude sickness at all.

Were if not for Norsang guidance, we wouldn’t have been able to complete the trek due to the challenging and toughness of passes and the difficulty of finding the Three Pass path. We also had a flight cancellation the first day we attempted to fly to Lukla and Norsang arranged everything for the next day. The teahouses were we stayed and that were chosen by Norsang were great and comfortable. Trekking with High Camp Trekking allowed us to enjoy ourselves and not to worry about logistics during the whole trek.

Finally, the communication with Norsang before the trek was prompt and thorough. He sent us lots of useful information before the trip. He speaks in fluent English with a clear accent, which allowed us to communicate and establish a friendly relationship.
