Nothing but praise for the team from High Camp Trekking – Norsang and Samden. They planned every aspect of our 14-day walk to Mera Peak, ensuring we had a safe, enjoyable trip – no aspect was overlooked. We were really impressed by their dedication, attention to detail, and commitment to their clients – we had great food, good accommodation, an excellent acclimatization schedule, and a wonderful, caring guide in Samden.
At High Camp’s recommendation, we incorporated two acclimatization days (one in Thangnak and a second in Khare) into the schedule when we went on day hikes to build our fitness and ‘go high and sleep low’. The upshot of all this excellent support and planning was that we made the peak! 🙂
